3BR Is officially carbon neutral!
Carbon neutrality is achieved by balancing emitting carbon and absorbing carbon from the atmosphere. This balance is crucial for mitigating climate change and ensuring a sustainable future.
How did we do it?

Is that a pickle jar?
Yes, and it helps us preserve water! Our distilling process has a unique design that includes a large water reservoir which allows us to recirculate the water needed in our condensing coils effectively reducing our water consumption by 500,000 gallons!
It is painted to look like a pickle jar as a nod to a Soviet drinking tradition where you are not allowed to take any bite of food (the pickle being the perfect chaser for vodka, of course!) after your first toast of the night. You may only look at the pickle!

no waste.
Ingredients from the 3BR production space to the tasting room are used to their fullest. In the cocktails, extra fruit becomes infusions and extra peels become garnishes.
All limes are juiced fresh on-site and the lime husks inspired us to create our very first LIMECELLO lime liqueur. Now, our LIMECELLO is one of the most popular items we sell!
local, local, local
Have you ever heard of farm-to-distillery?
We regularly prioritize locally grown agriculture which results in less emissions when transporting supplies. In our past and future products, we have sourced, peaches, basil, grapes, maple syrup, honey, apples and many more raw materials from local producers from New Jersey.
Or we go foraging in the forest ourselves for ingredients like juniper for our gin!

we continuously improve.
We reuse staves from our Squarrel (square barrel) that were used in aging our spirits, but using the wood for our smoked cocktails.
Try the Baba's Smoking Pipe!
When one of our bottles are empty, we clean and sanitize them and we reuse all of our glass bottles and corks.
No plastic straws! (And no paper straws that fall apart either!) 3BR has lovely metal straws that our staff put in the extra effort to clean and sanitize each one after use.
